You might be most familiar with chicken liver when made into a pate but it's a really versatile ingredient that's at home on all sorts of styles of cooking. A really deeply flavoured piece of meat, chicken liver is - like all cuts of offal - also incredibly nutritious. With low levels of fat, it's protein rich and packed with vitamins and minerals. Liver is a fantastic source of iron (for tackling fatigue and boosting blood health) as well as of folate and B12. Combined with that it's easy to cook and tastes delicious - nothing short of a superfood by our reckoning.
